Christina Versell Winters

July 18, 1985 - May 19, 2022

Christina Versell Diane Winters, affectionately known as “Moo Moo”, was born July 18, 1985 in Kansas City, Missouri to Laverna Jeanna Winters and Leonard Zula Jackson. Christina was preceded in death by her father, both maternal and paternal grandparents, three aunts: Emma Winters, Joelene McEleroy and Othella McEleroy; two uncles, Gary Winters and Damon Winters and one nephew, David Abrams. Christina was educated in Kansas City Missouri School District, completing her education at the Nova Education Center. Christina was a long-time personal care attendant who worked with numerous companies, as that was her passion. Christina was a loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. “Moo Moo” as everyone affectionately called her, had a big heart. She never met a stranger, everyone was family to her. Moo Moo called herself a “BBW” Big Beautiful Woman, and that she was. There was never a dull moment when Moo Moo was around; from dancing, to cracking jokes, Moo Moo was sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. Moo Moo accepted Christ at an early age and was currently attending the Church of Nazarene, Where she was gifted a van from the church giveaway. She departed this life on May 19, 2022 at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Left to cherish Moo Moo’s memory: her mother, Laverna Winters (Antonio); her sisters: Patricia Winters, Michelle Butler both of Kansas City, MO, Theresa Abrams (Thomas) of Kansas City, KS and Lisa McCray (Jeremiah) of Overland Park, KS; her brothers: Benson Winters (Tenisha), Rolando Winters, Domoneke Winters and Zack Abrams (Yolanda) all of Kansas City, MO: her uncles: Robert Winters, Tyrone Winters, Cecil Winters and Odell Lottie, Jr: her aunts: Lenora Winters, Melinda Hollins and Yolanda Lottie: her nieces: Natalia Evans, Sa’Miyah Winters, Sa’Nirah Winters, Carter Winters, Princess Winters, Romiysh Winters, Rokiyah Winters, Roniyah Winters, Brianna Winters and Kanesha Winters: her nephews: Jashawn Lane, Domoneke Winters, Jr., Emery Winters, Jayden Winters, Josiah Winters and Steven Winters; her cousins: Latasha Winters, Renata Winters, Renita Winters, Tanika Hollins, Stacy Hollins, Marlando Hollins, Artie Estes, Omesha Wilkins, EriYasha Winters, EreShay Winters, Imani Winters, Shayla Winters, Mikayla Winters, Xynissa Winters, Xniaa Winters, Marquan Muhammad, Shaun Flint, Jr., Brian Davis, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
