Karen Marie Clark
September 19, 1956 - June 6, 2022
Karen Marie Clark, 65, was born on September 19, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri to mother, Beatrice Clark of Dumas, Arkansas, and her father, Henry Farr also of Dumas, Arkansas. She is proceeded in death by her parents; her sister, Patricia Woods and brother, Jessie Newman. Karen attended Paseo High School and furthered her education in the School of Nursing where she excelled in the Healthcare Field. She spent her entire life helping others while working in this profession. Karen lived a vibrant exciting life. She worked hard & was dedicated to do so until she retired on February 22, 2022, from Brookdale Nursing Facility. Karen was not a “religious” woman but a very spiritual woman with a strong belief and faith in God, His Son and Savior Jesus Christ. Karen was always one with a kind word, a bright smile, and a word of encouragement. She was a loving, caring, giving, honest, trustworthy, and dependable woman. Karen was a very private and independent woman who didn’t ask anyone for anything but was always appreciative of what people gave her. She departed this life on June 6, 2022, at Saint Joseph Hospital. Left to cherish Karen’s memory: her only child, Don A. Baker; two sisters, Tammy Denson and Hattie Chapman; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and other loving family and friends. Karen will be greatly missed.
