Karrysa Reese Obituary Karrysa Renae Reese, 51, was born on January 26, 1970 to Allece Reese and Leroy Spates in Kansas City, MO. Karrysa education began at Greenwood Elementary and continued on to Phyllis Wheatley, Lincoln Prep and Central High School, where she graduated with honors in May of 1988.  Karrysa enjoyed singing and writing, she received many awards throughout her years in choir. After graduation Karrysa worked at the US Postal Service while building her own family of two beautiful boys.  Karrysa was a loving and dedicated mother, who's family meant everything to her, which was shown through her actions.  Her upbeat energy made her special. Her love made her an angel sent from heaven. Karrysa loved her family, loved to have fun, and loved spending time with her grandson. A great soul, a great woman. Heaven regained an Angel! Karrysa departed this life on January 13, 2022. She was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Reese, Sept. 16, 2020. Karrysa is survived by: her two sons: Domonique Rhodes Sr., and Timothy Reese; grandson, Domonique Rhodes, Jr.; her mother, Allece Reese and her father, Leroy Spates; her brother, Calvin Reese; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.
