Ola B. Smith November 14, 1953 – January 24, 2022 Ola B. Smith, 68, was born on November 14, 1953 in Proctor, Arkansas to Rev. Luke Smith, Sr. and Minnie Mae (Wilson) Smith. Ola attended McNeil High School. She moved to Kansas City in 1991, where she worked as a CNA for Private Duty Nursing Inc. for 25 years. She was a member of The Church of God in Christ, and loved to sing and praise the Lord any chance that she got. Ola was an Evangelist that was never scared to talk to family or strangers about God, she always encouraged them to get their life together with the Lord. Ola has been a faithful member of Faith Deliverance COGIC for years. Ola is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Shirley “Pam” Ann Smith; brothers: Arthur G. Smith, John L. Smith (Sandra) and Hermon “Sonny” Smith, Sr. (Sallie). Ola is survived by her 2 children: Sonja L. “Penny” Allen and Timothy Smith (Valerie) of Kansas City, MO. Her siblings: Luke Smith Jr. (Mae Francis) of Arkansas, Daniel Smith (Tara) of Illinois, Dorothy Collins of Arkansas, Deloris German (Willie James) of Illinois, Clinnie T. “Kim” Smith of Arkansas, Sherry Ann Smith of Illinois and Shirley Austin of Arkansas; grandchildren: D'Andre Allen, Da'Vaughn Allen (Brittany), TreVonte Allen (Kayla), Ty'Vonden Allen, Tyree Cullors, Demetrius Brown, Darlette Brown; great grandchildren: Dreyah Allen, Natalie Allen, Journie Allen, Hunter and Aydan Allen; several nieces, nephews and a host other loving family and friends
